These Tibetan flags were made by refugees in Dharamsala, North India, and measure 35cm long by 25cm high. They are made out of hard-wearing polyester.
These flags were made according to fair trade principles by Tibetan refugees in Dharamsala, North India. Using their traditional handicraft skills enables them to earn a living in a country with few economic opportunities for refugees. Trading with such communities is a key principle of fair trade.
