Here you will find a selection of beautiful, cosy hand-knitted pure wool gloves. They are all made by Tibetan refugees, who know a thing or two about keeping warm!
There are three designs - regular gloves in rainbow colours, and two clever new designs - one is a cross between fingerless gloves and mittens, with an attached knitted cap which can either cover your fingers or leave them free, enabling you to get the best of both worlds! The other is a simple knitted tube, lined with fleece and with a thumb-piece, leave fingers and thumbs free; I find them particularly handy (!) when I'm working outside on my stall.
These cosy gloves were hand-made according to fair trade principles at Tibet Children's Village in Dharamsala, North India. Click here for more information about the centre and how your purchase will be helping Tibetan refugees living in North India.
All orders will be shipped within 48 hours unless specified on the home page. For orders over £15 I send by Recorded Delivery, which requires a signature; please indicate if you would prefer ordinary post. Thanks!
